Welcome to the series premiere of the This vs That podcast!

Ned Rice played an integral role in the production of the This vs That series… he is also a 5 time Emmy loser and much sought after veteran comedy writer who spent several years writing for Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, The Jimmy Kimmel Show and most recently, The Jeselnick Offensive. Ned is also a frequent fill-in host on Los Angeles’ KABC radio. When he’s not making people laugh, Ned collects Hummel figurines on ebay.

When Jon isn’t making TV, he is secretly bidding up Hummel figurines on ebay, which he never intends to buy.


Jon Hotchkiss is the creator and Executive Producer  of This vs That. He is a 15 time Emmy loser and creator / show runner of The Truth About Sex (Playboy TV), My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad (NBC), and Invasion of the Christmas Lights (TLC). He was also the show-runner on the Penn & Teller series, Bullshit, as well as a writer for Curb Your Enthusiasm and Politically Incorrect (for its first five seasons).  When Jon isn’t making TV, he is secretly bidding up Hummel figurines on ebay, which he never intends to buy.
